How much money does Altius make from its royalties each year?

Our royalty revenue varies by year based on commodity prices, production volumes, and the performance of our operating mines and renewable energy assets.

For the most recent full year, 2025, we reported revenue and other income of $53.7 million. This represents a decline from 2024, when we reported attributable royalty revenue of $65.7 million.

Looking at our recent interim results, for the six months ended June 30, 2026, we reported revenue and other income of $45.3 million, which puts us on track for a stronger year than 2025.

Historically, our annual royalty revenue has grown significantly over the long term. In 2022, we achieved a record $103.5 million in attributable royalty revenue, and in 2019 we reported $78.1 million. The variation year to year reflects the cyclical nature of commodity prices (copper, potash, nickel, cobalt, lithium, iron ore) as well as thermal coal revenues in prior years, which we have since exited. More recently, renewable energy royalty revenue has grown substantially and now represents a meaningful portion of our portfolio.

Our revenue comes from 13 operating mines across Canada, Brazil, Argentina, and Mali, plus our growing renewable energy royalty portfolio in the United States.
